Robert arrived at around 1:00, and we had lunch, consisting of ham salad on Portuguese muffins, and watched several episodes of the third season of Six Feet Under.
We went to Irregardless for dinner, with 5:30 reservations. We had a coupon for a free bottle ($17 value) of wine, for Robert’s birthday, which we’re celebrating a week early as next weekend I’ll still be recovering from my knee surgery. We had that, each had a house salad with lemon tahini dressing, and then Robert had the Asian Stir-Fry Lo Mien and I had the Pad Thai Noodles, both of which were delicious.
We each took a portion home to leave room to split a piece of carrot cake, which was out of this world!
We went to dancing tonight, which consisted of four dancers—Carl and Bill in addition to us. I danced more than I should have on my knee that’s going to be operated on on Thursday, but c’est la vie.
We left very shortly after dancing, and watched a couple more episodes of Six Feet Under when we got home.
