We woke up to a winter wonderland — well a winter iceland, at least. Even though our site was closed today, I spent most of the day doing work — downloading (from ISSI) and configuring the AT&T Dialer, Lotus Notes, Sametime, and IDWB onto my desktop. I had to call the Helpdesk to help configure Lotus Notes to reach my mail server.
Robert and I played a “tie breaker” game of Uncommon Sense. It was another competitive game! I enjoy playing that game with him, and I think he enjoyed it, too.
We had to get out of the house, so went for a ride, to Crabtree again. I wanted to check out the President’s Day sale at Hecht’s. I ended up buying two pair of corduroy pants — originally $50 per pair, on sale for $9.99 per pair. Can’t beat that!
We stopped to eat at Rock-o-la Cafe on the way home. Robert had never eaten there. We had the most delicious hamburgers (and fries), and this OH MY GOD killer dessert — the same one I had when I went there with Jay a week or so ago. Whipped cream galore, ice cream galore, Heath Bar toffee bits, carmel syrup, and apples. Thank God for the apples, so I could count it as a “fruit.” 🙂
After dinner, we stopped at the Blockbuster there and rented THE HOUSE OF YES. I finished the IDWB install that I had to leave earlier, and then at about 8:00, we started the DVD. What a quirky movie (as I remembered it), and Robert seemed to really enjoy it.
Bed, crossword puzzles, and MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.
