Class finished up at about 3:30. We finished up with Kim at about 4:30. I went to the Spectrum Center to hang out until my flight. I bought two games at 75% off at Barnes & Noble. I mulled it over for quite a while weighing the savings against the additional bag to carry back on the plane. In the end, the bargain won out. I bought a neat B&W postcard, for Robert, with models from the 50’s or 60’s with their hairdos looking killer.
I bought a club sandwich from the Crazy Horse to eat during my layover in LAX.
The flight from Orange Country to LAX was ridiculously short, and could not have been cost effiecient in any way. We were in the air for 15 minutes, flying at 7,000 feet.
I ate my sandwich, and we left, uneventfully, for Chicago at our scheduled time of 11:15. I slept more than I thought I would, but it still wasn’t a good night’s sleep by any means — two hours the most.
In Chicago, at 5:30AM, I got a French Toast Bagel that was the deal. My Raleigh flight left on time at 7:30 without incident.
