I was expecting a 3% raise this year, but today Mathis told me it would be 8%. I was shocked. I was told today that I’d be stepping into the Security TIGR job, replacing Cassandra. I was asked to participate in a 5:00 conference call with Rich and Alan. I did, and was significant value add to the meeting, which felt very good. The call ended at 7:00.
I got home at about 8:30, and worked on action items from that meeting until after midnight. I feel good about what I produced and sent it off to Randy in Austin, copying Mathis, Rich, and BT.
Very rewarding work day.
