I had a pretty productive day at work today. Got a lot of high-profile stuff done, for what that’s worth.
I had lunch with Mike. He looks great. He must be down 125 or 130 lbs now. We at at the Quizno’s at the airport. We talked about the old bowling boys, and I found out that Scott and Deb had broken up, about a year ago. And, of course, Greg is dead.
Robert and I had hot dogs with soft flour tortillas for the buns. They were surprisingly good. We stopped at Arby’s for a Jamocha shake on the way to the play.
We saw The Cemetery Club at the Historic Garner Auditorium. I loved the play (the plot). The acting was fairly good, but not great. A few lines were noticeably flubbed here and there, and the accents (supposedly NY) kept fading in and out. I just loved the message and the premise of the whole thing, though. Time well spent.
We got home at around 10, and Robert headed back to Chapel Hill as he’s working in the morning, and all weekend. I’m going to try and get ahead on my homework, doing the assignments for both Monday and Wednesday of next week, as I have a three-hour TCW meeting on Sunday, and then the TCW Community Forum on Tuesday night. I’d better look at what’s due for Thursday’s class tomorrow, too.
