Once again, Alan did not attend the process meeting. Helen pretty much ran it. It was an okay meeting. I have several items from it that I must remember to update, as I prepped for my 4:00 from 2:00 all the way until it started.
Some time during the day, I bought two Alan Jackson / Martina McBride tickets. It is such a ripoff that ticketmaster charges $14.50 per ticket. Highway robbery! The fucking ticket is only $27.50, not to mention the $3.50 “facility charge.” It’s just a racket.
Rhonda arrived as my officemate today. It’s just going to be a pain having an officemate with all the conference calls I do. Tomorrow, and again on Wednesday, I’m on an 8-hour conference call. I’m going to take the calls from home.
The 4:00 21 CFR 11 prep meeting went well, I thought. I hope this team does better than the AMeB team. They certainly are fore-warned and fore-armed.
I left work at about 6:15, stopped at home to pick up the drag bingo list.
I got to Steve’s about about 10 till 7, and we went to eat at El Dorado’s (or El Rodeo’s, whichever one is in Forest Hills).
Back at his house, we did a little vacation investigation, and have settled on San Francisco. I need to send a note to Jim for some recommendations for places to stay.
I edited two of Steve’s papers before leaving at around 9:30. I stopped at K-Mart on the way home, and bought a 50-foot phone cord so that I can leave my phone on the base tomorrow (and use the speakerphone) for the 8-hour call.
I started dieting today.
