I had the most productive 3.5 hours at work today between about 2 and 5:30. Almost done with that tedious Security PPD Guidelines document update. The thought of the time it is going to save the teams using it is the only thing keeping me going on it.
We had the rest of the spaghetti for dinner, with some Italian bread. Yum.
I sent a note to Jan, Wayne, and Robert letting them know that I intend to tender my resignation at the board meeting this Tuesday.
We lied on the now infamous bed, and listened to Ira Glass interview undecided voters in his segment, “Swing Set.” I just love Ira and This American Life.
We went to the 10:10 showing of I Heart Huckabees at Crossroads 20. It was a very cute movie.
Movie Synopsis: A husband-and-wife team play detective, but not in the traditional sense. Instead, the happy duo helps others solve their existential issues, the kind that keep you up at night, wondering what it all means. Lily Tomlin was just a hoot in it. Jude Law was cute, Shania Twain made a cameo appearance, and an actor I’ve never seen before, Jason Schwartzman, was just adorable to me. His bathtub scene especially got my attention.
