I met Steve for breakfast at the Farmer’s Market. I had a killer cheddar cheese omelet.
We hadn’t seen each other for a while, and it was good to catch up.
Back home, I read part of our assigned article for Monday’s class, and did two loads of laundry.
Robert came over mid-afternoon. We worked on a crossword puzzle for a little while, and then napped.
We had spaghetti for dinner, with some bagels cut up as bread slices to go with it.
We arrived at Flex for dancing at 9:00, and from the get-go I was not really into it.
As the night progressed, more and more drag queens showed up for the “Country Queens Drag Show,” which was to start at 11:30.
Then, three women dressed up in hoochie outfits showed up to give out free trinkets and beer from Miller Light. For some queer reason, I just don’t get sending three pretty women in skimpy outfits into a gay bar as an advertising strategy.
As soon as the first drag queen came out “on stage,” we bee-lined it out of there. I just wasn’t in the mood for all that.
At home, we had the extra dessert I had brought home from our MSBC dinner last night.
