I met the “TC crowd” at East Village tonight, where we had drinks and dinner. I had the:
Veggie Southwest Wrap
Fresh veggies with a mix of cheddar, mushrooms, onion, green peppers, jalapeƱos and zesty mayo wrapped in a flour tortilla. |
I mean, with those jalapeƱos, I had to have the three bourbon and diets. (Or is the plural of that “bourbons and diet” like “mothers-in-law”?) In any case, that’s my story and it’s sticking to me.
Courtney had this:
Maple Wings
Our original BBQ and maple-flavored whole wings pack enough flavor to satisfy even the hungriest of wolves. |
which looked like this:
and were killer delicious.
During the course of the evening, it came out that one “particular person present” (love that alliteration) was the “mystery Graphiti writer” because of whom I’d started screening comments from anonymous posters. Let’s just say that it was big of her to admit it.
I have officially stopped blaming the person I thought it was. Let’s just say that that’s big of me.
Present this evening: the newlyweds: E-Ching and David, the oldynotweds: Stephen (could be Steven) and Amelia, Dana, Courtney, and yours truly. That’s how the evening started.
The final four consisted of E-Ching, David, Courtney, and yours truly. Good people.
On the way out, Karl from class, was sitting out front. We exchanged hellos with a handshake. Nice guy.
