Work, errands, worms, and getting tired of it…

Bad day at work. BladeRunner still not working – validation error box still blank, Sy and Dewaine had no luck reinstalling the Java VM, and Interleaf still had no fix. Sy and I worked on the validation of Chapters 2, 3, and 9. We had a good lunch at Irregardless. We finished up at around 4:00.

I had a blowup call with John Salidas today regarding my note to Lenny and Stephanie about my experience trying to access e-mail in DC this past weekend. I’m resigned to just assuming I don’t have access to Broadreach’s e-mail system on the weekends. That way if I do get access it will be bonus, and I won’t get so worked about something no one else seems to be bothered about but me. Blood pressure city.

I went to run some errands. I meant to go by Resources for Seniors as I have been unable to get through to them on the phone. I forgot though. I want to let Letha know how strongly Jeane feels about our real names being used in publishing my piece. I went to the library and turned in The Promise of Rest and renewed Dune. I also put the Bettie Letts book on hold to be sent to the POP library when it’s available. That’s November’s Nematome book. I also stopped by the CFCU, withdrew $100 cash, and deposited Greg’s check (for Dan’s bowling ball), and the Deluxe Family Tree $20 rebate check.

Next, I stopped by Broadreach to get David to scan in the picture of Milton, Jeane, and Rhoda and e-mail it to Cindy Woods. David is fun to be around. I like that hair poking out the top of his shirt, too. J Santiago came up while we were talking and told me about Stan “cruising” him in the men’s room at Broadreach. Ha! Stan got caught looking. I don’t believe it was a cruise though.

I got home and found out about Bruno having worms, and the rigmarole that now has to be done in order to take care of them. Buying all that litter, replacing the whole box (each) box every two days, pills, etc. for two months. I made the comment that it is a little overwhelming. Rob’s comment was, “It must only be overwhelming in your mind because I’m doing it all.” I guess it is. What bothers me about it is that it’s more things from him to do, which will take away from things he could be doing around the house or to advance his floral career. But I didn’t get into all that. Instead, I just fell asleep on the couch.

I awoke on the couch at about 10:00. I played with Joe Hodor’s digital camera that we’re going to use tomorrow night to take pictures of me and Jeane. Actually, I read the instruction booklet for quite a while and then took two practice pictures. It seems pretty straight forward to me.

By this time it was raining and quite windy outside. I was going to take a Xanax to sleep better. Rob was kind enough to bring me one up at the computer with a glass of 7UP that I thought was water. I ended up not taking the pill as by the time I really went to bed the wind and rain had stopped.

Saw USA Jock on his cam for the first time. Nice pits, and nice ass.
