Worked at work, yummy dinner, dancing, laundry, and a puzzle…

I drove in to the office today, and had a full day. I had to stop my edit on the IDI Users Guide, as I’m running out of time to have it back to the writer in time for her to incorporate the edits. There’s definitely more editing to do on it, and she has a lot of changes to address.

I devised a note to her asking for her deadlines so that I can plan my edit of the Admin Guide. Her note back told me that not only is there no time to do any more editing on the Users Guide, there’s no time to do an edit on the Admin Guide. Oh well.

Robert beat the traffic, and me, to my house, and was a dear to run to the grocery store to pick up a few things for dinner.

I made Tomato Mozzarella Bruschetta for dinner, and Robert composed a salad to go with it.

After dinner, Robert ran out to fill up his car with gas, and to find us the new Independent so we could do the crossword puzzle until time for leaving for dancing. He was unable to find a copy in the local distribution stands.

We worked on last week’s puzzle, which we had each started independently (no pun intended), and had each abandoned for being too difficult. We actually got it down to all but about three answers. Yay us.

Dancing was pretty dead tonight, in terms of folks in the bar, though it picked up a little as the night went on.

Dancers tonight, in addition to Robert and me, included: Carl, Michael, Rob, Steven, Ross, Geromy, and Joe Judge. Jose, Craig, James and Doug were there as well, along with Van and Adam, of course.

The lesson tonight, for I think the fourth week in a row, was The Chill Factor. I’m not complaining; we need the lessons to get it down. I pretty much have it now. Certainly enough to fake it.

I put a load of laundry in of stuff I need to take on my trip with me tomorrow.

We worked on the new crossword puzzle, as there is an Indy stand just across the street from the bar, and we’d nabbed one on the way in. We made pretty good progress, but didn’t finish it, as it got late.
