I was up at 10:00, and Robert at 11:00. We got everything packed up and took one load down to the car before walking over to The Eagle for the BBQ Lunch before heading out of town.
We got out of Dodge at about 1:00, and other than hitting a very nasty thunderstorm on the way home, the ride back was quick and uneventful.
We dropped off Robert in Durham, and then, once back at my house, Michael took off for his one more hour ride back to his home in Spring Hope.
I took a two-hour nap, and then met Joe at Red Lobster for dinner. That weather we had encountered on the way back from Charlotte evidently made its way here, and as the sky turned almost black outside, we were treated to a double rainbow, as we sat at a table by the window.
I did two loads of laundry and packed for the cruise. Our flight’s at 8:00 in the morning, and Kevin (av8rdude) is picking up Joe and me here at my house at 6:00 AM.
We get to Tampa at around 12:30 PM, and the ships leaves port at 4:00 PM.
I’m not paying for Internet access, so there may not be another blog entry until Saturday, the 26th. I’ll write them daily, of course, but only post them if we get free access at some point along the way.
Have a good week!
