~Sunday~ I watched the movie Gen Silent online this afternoon, whose “hook” is:
| What would you do if you were old, disabled or ill – and the person feeding you put down the spoon and said that you are going to hell unless you change your sexual preference?
Sound absurd? Social workers around the world say it’s happening every day. |
This documentary is well done. Without a doubt, to me, the excruciatingly saddest moment in this film is when they show KrysAnne’s mail after she tells her family she is transitioning (from male to female).
I wish they had talked about GLBT facilities that might (or might not) be starting to be built. They are something I’ve always imagined myself being a part of.
