Lists of lists, hallelujah, hallelujah! And they shall reign forever and ever…

~Saturday~They” say that in order to be a writer, you have to—well—write. For a long while, ten years to be exact, I did that by writing a blog entry for every day—from January 12, 2004 through January 12, 2014.

In addition to that, those of you who know me well know that I track a lot of things in my life, so to that end, I have a lot of lists going on at any one time.

This is my attempt to list the ones I can think of:

Blog_The-Movies All (or most) of the movies I’ve seen since I started tracking them in February of 2003.
Plays All (or most) of the plays I’ve seen since I started tracking them in February of 2003.
Books A lot of the books I’ve read in my life centralized on Goodreads. I’ve been in three book clubs, and I’m currently in one. These are the books broken down by each club:

linedancing A lot of the line dances I know (or have known in my life).
home The places where I’ve lived.
school All of the schools I’ve attended.
gradschoollogo All of the courses I took in Grad school, including the semester, professor, and grade.
jobs All of the jobs I’ve had.
travel1 Most of the places to which I’ve traveled over the years.
coffee_1476992c Since retiring on October 13, 2014, I’m doing what I’m calling The Great Retirement Coffee Shop Tour, where I spend a couple of hours writing whenever I can, with a goal of several times a week. I have a list of those I have visited, and those I want to visit.
dreams At times when I have crazy dreams, I am writing up little vignettes of them.
calendarjournal-08 I am writing one or two sentences each day about something that happened during my day. Over the years, I’ll be able to see everything I wrote for a particular day. I am still deciding about whether to make this list public or not.
HaikuADay I’m in a Facebook group whose members commit to write a haiku-a-day. Here are my haiku entries from January 1, 2014.
SoMuchPun-37882 I have a running list of ideas about which to create “video puns.” Here’s an example of one I’ve already done. I don’t want to make the list available, as it will contain “spoilers.”
salon I am in a Salon group that meets monthly to discuss items the group has collected and place on an agenda for the meeting. I document the questions and my answers to the items on the agenda for these meetings.
