Weight Milestone: My heart is no longer lugging around the amount of weight equivalent to my 16-pound bowling ball. Tonight I will walk around the house holding it for a few minutes — just to appreciate the relief.
I didn’t feel at all well today. I left work at 1:30, and I slept from 3:30 to 6:30. I can’t believe how fast this cold came up on me.
I made me a quick dinner, the chicken breast fillet on whole wheat bread, which was delicious.
Class was productive tonight; I found a lot of literary references in response to my searches about obituary as a genre. I love scholar.google.com
After class, I stopped by the HT to get some yogurt. They only had orange creme and cherry, and I bought one cherry and three orange cremes. I wanted some apple turnover and very vanilla flavored ones, but they were out.
At home, I cleaned and “ripped up” a head of lettuce, peeled and diced cucumbers, diced a green pepper, chopped up some onions, and food processed some carrots and light white cheddar cheese. Got my salad stuff all ready for the “grab and run” morning preps.
In the excitement of “playing with my Nutri-food,” I have lost my pack of ham. I can’t imagine where it might be. I even checked my trash can. The good news is that it doesn’t have to be refrigerated so if/when it does turn up, it won’t have spoiled.
