Mile-high club warning, living apart together, madman editor, class, finances, and homework…

Singapore Airlines has taken the unusual step of publicly asking passengers on its new Airbus A380 plane not to engage in any sexual activities. The potential problem has arisen because the first class area of its giant super jumbo contains 12 private suites complete with double beds.  The rest of the story…

Who knew? There are over 3.8 million married couples doing what demographers have devised this name for: living apart together. In other words, they’re married but they don’t reside under the same roof.  The rest of the story…

I edited like a madman today and gladly set my availability status to “Out of the Office Until Monday” before logging out of work for the day.

I did some coding for Jason’s Verbal Data Analysis class after work and up until time to leave for class.

Class consisted of presentations by Anna, Mary-Bridgette, Jeremy, and Michelle of their projects’ distribution data for analysis.

The best thing about it was that it took up the entire class, which completed another week of classes, which brings me one week closer to graduating. Who’s counting?

I have several reminders on my Palm Pilot calendar for the beginning of the month:

  1. *288 my cell phone for system and roaming updates,
  2. Check my IBM 401K plan to see if my “holding fund” has reached $1000, and if so transfer it to my “Window of Funds,” and
  3. Pay my AMEX bill.

In pursuing item #2, logging into my IBM 401K plan, where I have half of my total investment money invested (the other half is with Ameriprise, which my financial advisor manages), I see my gain for this quarter is $29,129.48.

I wish I could sit on my ass and make $10,000 a month every month. Wonder what effect the 362-point drop in the Dow had on that today.

I did Verbal Data Analysis homework at Helios after class.

Today, I missed talking to the special man in my life. We’re living apart together.  SMCH!
