I received an e-mail from my professor, which I’m counting as an affirmation. It was in response to the data analysis I sent him yesterday.
After giving me 8 more frequency angles to graph (both absolute and relative frequency, so 16 graphs), 4 more graphs for multiple dimension distribution analysis, and yet 4 more for temporal analysis, he ended the e-mail with:

Once we have these numbers in front of us, we should probably meet again to talk about the significance and then track down some resources for writing up the results. Assuming that we find something interesting, would you be interested in sending a paper to a conference like SigDoc or IPCC? If the paper is accepted, we would get to speak at the conference and get a publication. |
The SIGDOC 2008 Conference location is yet to be announced. The IPCC 2008 Conference is in July in Montreal. Sweet if it works out.
Robert and I had a delicious breakfast of a cheddar cheese omelet, spicy sausage patties, and bolos levedos. I cooked; he did the dishes. Yay.
I spent the entire afternoon at Helios, most of the time of which I spent doing homework for Rhetoric of Science and Technology class—reading articles and devising and posting responses to discussion questions on the class’s electronic message board.
I was in the bed by 9:45, and slept for 10 hours. Yay!
