Look into my eyes—literally!

~Friday~ I had my annual eye appointment yesterday, and as expected, my eyesight has deteriorated slightly—all within the normal parameters of someone “aging”—but the “health” of my eyes was “fantastic,” according to Dr. Beautiful.

The technician who took pictures of my retinas didn’t do a good job and after the doctor saw them, he ordered them retaken—by another technician, I might add and about which I was thankful. I would rather have not had to see those huge blue/white circular imprints linger in my brain again, but at least the results were good.

Here’s looking at you, kid!

In other news:

Habit is habit, and not to be flung out of the window by any man, but coaxed downstairs a step at a time. -Mark Twain-

and I’m trying to change two of them with regards to my new car:

  1. I need to grab my seatbelt from the middle to pull around me in this car. In my previous car, for nine years, I grabbed it from the top and pulled it down and across me.
  2. I’ve got to stop unbuckling my seatbelt as I pull up the drive into my townhouse area, as while on my previous car the warning signal sounded once and stopped, on this car it starts off slowly and keeps getting faster and louder until I either rebuckle or turn off the car.

First world problems, I know, but I’m getting through them.
